United for You International strives to transform communities both locally and globally by elevating the human condition through an integrated program that assists in meeting basic needs and promoting the educational and vocational resources necessary for self-sufficiency. We believe in the importance of vibrant, supportive, and empowered communities as agents of change. Our organization supports innovative research geared to eliminating inequities in health and educational services to create supportive self-sufficient communities.
Basic Needs
We partner with communities to focus on services and systems that improve the lives of the most vulnerable people by providing basic supplies such as: food, clothing, shoes, and clean water to alleviate immediate suffering and acute poverty. Every donation in this area can save lives and allow communities to move beyond crisis and utilize resources to become self-sufficient.
Education Around The World
U4U International believes that education is the most essential tool for children to reach their full potential in life. We support children in need of access to programs and training for quality instruction in the classroom and at home. Coaching parents and caregivers to help their children to learn and succeed in school is a main priority.
Our community volunteers focus their efforts in supporting students’ development of reading, math, technology, leadership, sports, and artistic skills. We work to provide at-risk students with technology to succeed in school and to access future educational opportunities. Our focus not only consists of helping students reach their full academic potential, but also supports alimentation and nutrition services of students in need.
Medical
We support Medical Missions by connecting healthcare volunteers with organizations that need them, increasing access to quality healthcare around the world. Registration, search, and mission posting is free for all volunteers and organizations on our web page. U4U places volunteer physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel in communities in need around the world. We support the efforts of these personnel by the provision of medical and hygiene supplies.
Self Reliant Communities
Our mission is supporting communities to become stronger, more unified, self-sufficient and resilient to withstand economic and social challenges by engaging individuals, organizations and businesses. We help to identify critical needs and potential business opportunities by using local resources and skills and establish planning, training, and strategic growth opportunities by supplying volunteers and professionals in the needed field.
Partnering with existing organizations, U4U provides innovative strategies, working models, and timely information to support community development. To this end, U4U works with citizens, activists, and entrepreneurs to design systems, policies, and enterprises that meet specific local needs. This allows us to maximize human, material, natural, and financial resources and to ensure that the benefits of these systems and resources accrue to all local citizens.
Research
Our research mission is to support the development of knowledge and actions that foster a better understanding of community problems around the globe. We promote collaborative discovery in health, family relationships, environmental concerns, and human integral awareness of social and economic development and inequity reduction.
